ForgePoint Signal ("we", "us") operates forgepointsignal.com, a subscription service that summarizes publicly available federal estate and gift tax regulatory documents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.

What we collect

• Billing information. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, and payment method on our behalf. We do not see or store your card number, CVC, or full card details.
• Subscription status. We store your email and subscription state (active, canceled, past due) in our database so we can grant and revoke access.
• Server logs. Like any web service, our host (Vercel) records request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamps, response codes — for a limited period for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your information to third parties.

How we use it

• To process your subscription payment through Stripe.
• To deliver the regulatory intelligence service you subscribed to.
• To send account and billing-related email (receipts, renewal reminders, service notices).
• To respond to support requests.
• To monitor for abuse and maintain service security.

Third-party services

• Stripe, Inc. — handles all payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Supabase, Inc. — hosts our database of regulatory entries and subscription state.
• Vercel, Inc. — hosts the web application and serves requests.
• Anthropic, PBC. — processes the public text of regulatory documents to generate plain-English summaries. No subscriber personal information is sent to Anthropic.

Cookies

The public dashboard itself sets no cookies. Stripe Checkout and any authenticated account pages may set strictly necessary cookies required for payment and session management.

Data retention

We retain billing records for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Subscription records are retained for the life of your account plus any legally required retention period after closure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@forgepointsignal.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active subscribers by email.
